Welcome to Compassionate Communication of Ann Arbor, a satellite organization launched with the support of the Compassionate Communication Center of Central Ohio.
We are a hub, clearing house and a community of enthusiastic supporters for Compassionate Communication (formally known as Nonviolent Communication, or NVC for short), in Ann Arbor, and all communities in the Great Lakes region.
Currently, CCAA is hosting certified NVC trainers to lead workshops, support and promote local NVC events, connect those interested in growing NVC community, and create opportunities for collaboration and shared experiences utilizing NVC with joy and ease.
Next up in Ann Arbor is Nonviolent Communication: Quick Solutions for Difficult Situations, held at Crazy Wisdom Bookstore and Tearoom on Main Street in downtown Ann Arbor, Wednesday evening, Dec. 17 at 7p. This is a free event, open to everyone, to share helpful tips and practical suggestions for cultivating self-empathy and self-calming, reducing conflict with ease and grace, improving communication with others, and finding meaningful solutions for difficult and stressful situations.
Lisa will also discuss the upcoming year-long NVC intensive training beginning in February 2015, lead by certified trainers Jeff Brown andFrancois Beausoleil. This mini workshop will be facilitated by Lisa Gottlieb, MSW. Please contact Lisa if you would like more information about this event: nvclisagottlieb@gmail.com
Beginning in Feb. 2015: Living, Integrating and Sharing Compassionate Communication: Infuse Collaboration into Your Relationships and World.
